I hope that's not all this is about. In my business and professional life, I wear a number of hats: author of books and articles, teacher, software developer and publisher, provider of quotes to journalists and other writers – to name the most conspicuous.

Because of these varied callings, people sometimes need to find me or find out what I've written lately, what new software my company has developed, or perhaps even where I'm speaking. So, we've developed this simple site as a sort of Table of Contents for my business life.

I am the author of What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow..., now in its second edition and published by McGraw-Hill. It is actually about a lot more than just cash flow. It provides a foundation on how income properties investments work and serves as a handbook for understanding 37 essential financial measures related to real estate investing.

My latest book is Mastering Real Estate Investment, which revisits those 37 measures with lots of examples, but then goes on to present four detailed case studies. My goal with those cases is to give you a chance to see that the math behind investment property is not just some sort of abstraction. It's a real tool you can use to guide your decisions.
